FCC Releases Order on E911 Requirements for IP-Enabled Service Providers 

Jeff just reported that the FCC just released the first order and proposed rulemaking on E911 Requirements for IP-enabled Service Providers. (FCC-05-116A1).

I had of course no time to digest the proposed rulemaking in detail, but what I have seen sofar in Annex B, the rulemaking is not very heavy, basically a minimum requirement.

But I am sure, the experts will soon respond ;-)
